Received a smaller basement room with a strange bathroom layout, featuring a shower in the middle and no natural light. The air conditioning broke multiple times and left it unbearably hot, with a notable lack of soundproofing due to the busy intersection. Additionally, no reception meant problems had to be dealt with through phone calls, and there were stairs to navigate with luggage, making a hassle out of what should've been a breeze.

my stay at penfield suites was great! i appreciated the privacy and the cleanliness, especially since i barely saw any staff. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the metro.

The Queen Suite was spacious, clean, and located reasonably close to downtown, making it easy to explore. Check-in was smooth, and the layout fit my needs perfectly. Unfortunately, the room had a few issues. The shower doors were tough to operate due to some damage, and the toilet seat didn’t fit properly, constantly falling shut. The bed frame had a noticeable problem as well. Additionally, the A/C struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature on hotter days, and the chairs were quite uncomfortable. The Wifi connection was also unreliable, causing some frustration during my stay.

A fantastic tip for future guests, ensure to have working phone options as there is no reception to assist. A cozy atmosphere and well-designed room made for a delightful solo trip.
